Power Novel November

๐๐Ž๐–๐„๐‘ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐‹ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐Œ๐๐„๐‘ returns this fall!ย 

For those who donโ€™t remember, I have committed myself to writing the first draft of a new novel every November! I first attempted this in 2021 (failed), but since 2022, I have successfully knocked out a full-length first draft. The ๐๐Ž๐–๐„๐‘ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐‹ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐Œ๐๐„๐‘ format began last year, and I will again encourage anyone with a new book idea to join in! PNN does not have to be a novel though. If youโ€™d prefer ๐๐Ž๐–๐„๐‘ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐‹๐‹๐€ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐Œ๐๐„๐‘, then go for it! I just want to encourage the indie author community to work toward the goal of powering through the first draft of a new manuscript. You can set per-day word goals or chapter goals. You can start from a previously developed outline or dive right in with just an idea and motivation. Itโ€™s completely up to you! 

This year for ๐๐Ž๐–๐„๐‘ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐‹ ๐๐Ž๐•๐„๐Œ๐๐„๐‘, I will be writing the first in the ๐‡๐š๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐’๐“๐Ž๐Š๐„๐๐‘๐ˆ๐ƒ๐†๐„ series with a book entitled ๐‘น๐’†๐’‡๐’๐’†๐’„๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’๐’” ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ฌ๐’—๐’Š๐’. The plot surrounds two sisters who inherit a house from a distant relative, and with the inheritance comes an old storage unit. Inside they find an antique mirror and unknowingly take it home. What they donโ€™t understand is this mirror was smuggled out of a cursed town in 1975 after a massacre left almost all its citizens dead. And before it landed in an old storage shed, it hung on the wall of the very house the sisters inherited. These two sisters are going to discover that while the cursed town may have burnedโ€ฆthe disease has spread.ย 

If I can successfully complete the first draft, it will be FIVE straight Novembers with a new novel draft completed in 30 days!

  • 2024: ๐’๐“๐Ž๐Š๐„๐๐‘๐ˆ๐ƒ๐†๐„: ๐„๐ฑ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (released October 2025)
  • 2025: ๐‘ฏ๐‘ถ๐‘พ ๐‘ป๐‘ถ ๐‘บ๐‘ผ๐‘น๐‘ฝ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฝ๐‘ฌ ๐‘จ ๐‘บ๐‘ฌ๐‘น๐‘ฐ๐‘จ๐‘ณ ๐‘ฒ๐‘ฐ๐‘ณ๐‘ณ๐‘ฌ๐‘น ๐‘จ๐‘ป ๐‘บ๐‘ผ๐‘ด๐‘ด๐‘ฌ๐‘น ๐‘ช๐‘จ๐‘ด๐‘ท (releasing on October 3rd)
